As part of its commitment to fostering high-quality research and meaningful academic–industry dialogue, ECONSHIP 2026 collaborates with leading international journals to develop Special Issues dedicated to key themes shaping the future of maritime economics, ports, and global supply chains.
These Special Issues provide selected authors with the opportunity to further develop and publish their work in peer-reviewed journals, extending the impact of their research beyond the conference. With a strong focus on real-world relevance, interdisciplinary approaches, and policy-oriented outcomes, the Special Issues aim to contribute to advancing knowledge and supporting evidence-based decision-making across the maritime sector.
The first confirmed Special Issue is presented below, with additional collaborations currently in preparation and to be announced soon.
